I was tired. It was a long day. I was planning to sleep early.
I picked up David Gemmell's Troy.
And couldn't stop reading until now!!!
It was FANTASTIC!!
I don't know whether to thank you for the recommendation or to blame you for my late nights spent reading this absolutely ****ING gripping book!! I am going to buy the Troy series from the bookshops if they have it, only to find... to my horror... BOOK 3 of the trilogy isn't out yet!
Not only isn't it NOT out, the author croaked before he could finish it! Argh! But it appears the Mrs is going to finish the final 20k words or so (that's a lot of words) of the final book and release it to the public (got this from wikipedia). I'd rank it up there with George RR Martin's book except it isn't as complicated (not that many characters to remember that it needs geneological diagrams at the back of books!).
I have an early meeting tomorrow so I'll sign off now, and will be dreaming of Trojans tonight LOL.

Really? Troy is that good, huh. Ok, I shall read all 3 when the 3rd book is out! Hahaha.
If it is any consolation to you, I had a late nite too even though I had intended to sleep early as I have counselling this morning, like in 40 mins' time! Head is still groggy now. I was reading Rollins' Black Order till 3+am. I am going to be so "awake" later. Lol. Now who is to blame for telling me about Black Order. I wonder who?! Hahaha.
