Laughter

I love to laugh and I like people to laugh too. A good hearty laugh can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, elevate mood, boost immune system, improve brain functioning, protect the heart, connect you to others, foster instant relaxation and make you feel good. There is so much good laughters can do for one. So why not laugh more often? :)
I am glad that I have provided laughters to my good friends today.

Our colleague and good friend, C drove to work today. She was going out of campus during lunch to get refreshment for her school workshop in the afternoon and to have lunch as well. We (YZ, KM and I) tagged along. Why not? Get to have lunch in a new place, lol.

We had lunch at one of the market places. We happened to sit right in front of a dessert stall with all its colourful pictures of desserts. After my lunch, I was "lua nua-ing" just looking at the pictures. Good friends were trying to be helpful and suggested certain desserts that I could have. In the end, they realised they were all too sweet for me and I couldn't have any of them. One of them suggested that I just have a bowl of shaved ice. Hahaha, very funny. Actually, it was funny. Friend said he finally understood the meaning of "Poor Little Rich Girl" and everyone at the table, including me burst into laughter. LOL. Sorry, it is a long-standing inside joke among my good friends about me being a "tai-tai". I am NOT a tai-tai lah. But whatever it is, I don't mind bringing laughter to friends, lol. It brings me joy too :)

Back at the centre, I was explaining to YZ about the leadership track, teaching track and specialist track in MOE. I was telling him that I was on the specialist track before resigning from MOE. All of a sudden, he had a bright idea. He had earlier said after I get my PhD, I could be called AE, stands for Assessment Expert. Lol. I don't want, hahaha, sounds too much like A&E, Accident & Emergency, lol and too similar to DE, hahaha. Sorry, another inside joke. Anyway, he said I could be "A.S.S.". What?! NO WAY, even if it meant Assessment Senior Specialist! Lol. He was laughing so hard that he couldn't stop. Hahaha. But as you all know, laughing is contagious, KM and I soon joined in the laughing too. LOL.

Sigh, with good friends like these who laugh at my "expense" without hesitation, who needs enemies?! Hahaha. Only joking, my friends. Lol.
