eBook

I have a Kindle. :) It is a gift from my friends, you can call it an early birthday present lol.

I have the Kindle for about 3 weeks now. Initially I was worried about the glare on the screen but my worries were unfounded. I found the reading on the ebook a breeze. :)

WOAH, so early? Isn't your birthday in sept (or was it oct?)

How's the kindle working out anyway? :D was eyeing it too but managed to get my itouch to allow me to read ebooks though on a very much smaller screen. i didn't have to fork out that couple of hundred bucks lol.

btw, how do you get your books on the kindle? can you transfer your own books in or you have to buy off their stores?

Yar consider it EARLY birthday present for my October birthday lol.

The kindle's working out great. Much better than I anticipated. :) Easy on the eye and I can read a number of books at the same time! lol.

As for the ebooks, I am lucky. I have a friend who has kindle too and we have similar tastes in books so at the moment, I got some books off from my friend. :) But after I finish those books, I have to think about how to get new books.

Ah, i was curious since you said you didn't know. According to wiki, E-books of unencrypted .MOBI files, .TXT files, or .AZW formats ( - which *ehem* you can find on the wonderful word of internet) can be transferred to the Kindle over a USB connection and read or buy off their book stores.
