We observed the same routine every Chinese New Year. Our first stop on the first day of Chinese New Year was to go to the temple to pray for good luck for the new year, followed by visits to my grandaunt, a family friend and my former teacher. We were done with our visiting by 12.30pm. It started raining heavily in the afternoon but that didn't stop our family friends from visiting us. :) After dinner, we went to visit an old family friend and her extended family.
That rounded up our first day on Chinese New Year. It has been a very wet day and I have to admit that the rain had dampened the Chinese New Year mood somewhat. Let's hope the weather will be better tomorrow.
