Gold Coast Fun (Nature) Day 3

Juliane and I woke up early in the morning. We are going on a 4WD day trip to Natural Arch and Springbrook National Park today! :) At 7:30am, we were waiting at the front of our accommodation for our coach pick up. However, it was running behind schedule. :(
Nice blue sky without a cloud!
Hot, Hot and HOT!
Taking photo while waiting for our coach. Someone still sleepy lol
A ladybug kept us company while we waited for our coach
By 8:30am, we were on our way to our first guided walk of the day - Natural Arch (also known as Natural Bridge) in Springbrook National Park. On the way, we had two photo stops where we could see Surfers Paradise in the distance and morning tea at Mt Tamborine Gallery Walk. After morning tea, we had another photo stop on Mt Tamborine where paragliders go to paraglide. We were lucky to see paragliders in action. :)
Various scenery along the way
Rocky 4WD ride to first photo stop
Surfers Paradise in the distance
No idea what Juliane was looking at lol

Just after 12pm, we finally arrived at the Natural Arch. :) The temperature was a lot cooler being in the mountain. I was a little disappointed when I saw the Natural Arch or the Natural Bridge. It looked a lot larger in the photos. The guided walk took about 45 minutes and we were off to our lunch.

After lunch at 2:30pm, we continued on our Springbrook National Park journey. At 3pm, we arrived at Purlingbrook Falls. After which, we went to Canyon Lookout, Goomalarah Falls, and Best of All Lookout.

By the time we were done with all the guided walks, it was already 4:30pm. It was 5:30pm when we arrived back in Gold Coast. I met up with another uni friend, Shiggy for dinner at Spinners, Jupiters Casino and Hotel at 7:30pm. Both Juliane and I needed a rest after our long day trip to Springbrook National Park lol. It was great catching up with Shiggy and Kyle again after their visit to Singapore in October. :)

It was a tiring day but it was green and natural. :P It was great catching up with my uni friend again and we did get to visit Jupiters after all lol. Tomorrow we will be going back to Brisbane in the afternoon.
