Hong Kong Trip 2015 Day 5 Part 2 The Peak & Tai Ping Koon

After our Star Ferry Harbour tour, we slowly made our way from Central Pier to The Peak Tram Lower Terminus at Garden Road. It took us 30 minutes to get there because of photo-taking and a few wrong turns on the way. We finally arrived at 4pm. :P Once again, thank goodness for the advance tickets, we went straight to the queue for the Peak Tram which really saved us time. :)
In the tram
It was definitely colder at the top of The Peak. :P We went to Sky Terrace 428 at the top of The Peak Tower, a strange looking building with a shape that of a slice of water melon on top of a stick lol. The view would have been fantastic but it was cloudy. :( We were at The Peak from 4:20pm till about 6pm. It became much colder in the evening when we were waiting for the tram back down to The Lower Terminus so out came the hat and scarf lol. It took us close to 35 minutes to get back down.
The only shop we visited, my late paternal grandma used this brand before
We walked back to Central station and took the train to Causeway Bay station and arrived at Times Square around 7:10pm to meet with my Cousin Rita for dinner.

Cousin Rita brought us to Tai Ping Koon Restaurant, Causeway Bay branch which is famous for its Roasted Pigeon, Chicken Wings in Swiss Sauce and Souffle! We ordered a number of TPK signature dishes. Absolutely delicious! Now I know why Tai Ping Koon is a must visit restaurant when one is in Hong Kong haha.

Look at that HUGE souffle!
After our sumptuous meal, Cousin Rita took us to Stubbs Road Lookout in her convertible. Juliane was absolutely thrilled to ride in the convertible lol. :P

We parted ways with Cousin Rita at Central Pier where we took the ferry back to Tsim Sha Shui. I just love the ferry. It has so much history. :)
As we walked back to our hotel, we saw Chung King Mansions (which was featured in one famous HK movie) and we also bought some desserts from a shop near our hotel as supper lol.
Papaya Milk Pudding, Mango Pudding and Grape Jelly
Goodies we bought from HKU
I will be staying up late to pack tonight as we are checking out of the hotel tomorrow at 2pm. I would much rather be relax tomorrow. :)
